HOWTO: Enable sound on Boot on Kali Linux

To fix sound mute in Kali Linux on boot, please follow those steps:

The first thing to do is installing the following package if not installed by typing the following command:

apt-get install alsa-utils -y

The second step is enabling the sounds on boot, just follow those pictures:

First thing click on the sound icon on top-right of the screen as shown in the picture, and click on the Preferences, its located in the bottom-left of the following picture:

 Next: Click on the Sound icon:

Next: Use the Output volume slider to ON, shown similar the screenshot above.

That’s it.
